BAR CODE

The ABBASOFT Technologies Bar Code Module allows you to enter various label parameters to print bar code labels. It is used for maintaining bar codes for customers, parts or products in the ABBASOFT system. The Bar Code module also has the capability of printing bar codes on Work Orders and Sales Orders. With the Bar Code module inventory movement, stock adjustments, inventory reports, and cycle counting can be completed more quickly and efficiently.

Bar Code Features

Using a hand-held bar code scanner, warehouse transaction information is collected and downloaded to the PC on a daily basis. The system is then updated over night. You can also utilize a Radio Frequency system which would make your inventory system a Real Time On-line system. In this case transactions will be update instantaneously as the work progresses. The Customer Bar Code Maintenance option allows the user to maintain bar codes by customer. The Bar Code Label Print option allows the user to print labels for sales orders for one or all parts.Bar coding can reduce the time it takes to fill orders, count inventory, product up-to-date reports on a timely basis and eliminate costly over or unde4r stocking. Bar-coding systems can increase the efficiency of "just in time" inventory systems. All of this will reduce your costs and overhead.

Additional Features

  • The Intermec 8640-Series Format Entry option allows the user to set up formats to be printed with the 8640 Intermec Printer.
  • Print out 'Control Bar Code Labels' for Inventory Receipts and Sales Order Shipments.
  • The Intermec 8640 Series Package Label Print option allows the user to select sales orders for which to print bar code labels. Labels may be printed for master package and/or mixed loads and individual units.
  • Scan Pallet BC Labels to execute a Warehouse Transfer.
