FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

The ABBASOFT Technologies Facilities Management module is built around our Fixed Assets module. Facilities Management allows you to schedule regular and preventative maintenance on any piece of equipment. Materials from stock or directly from purchasing can be tracked against an asset as well as labor. Facilities Management integrates with other ABBASOFT modules to enable you to see all schedule requirements in one place. Note: The Fixed Assets module is not needed in order to run the Facilities Management module.

KEY BENEFITS

  • Schedule equipment for regular maintenance.
  • Analyze data for all required facility maintenance costs, as well as labor costs, by week, month, or year.
  • Detailed history is maintained for all material and labor transactions required for facility maintenance and upkeep.
  • Categorize and convert facility assets by class code.
  • Change Purchase Orders to Fixed Assets.
  • Easily track Task Work Order History as well as the associated Purchase Order and Labor History.

Facilities Management Features

Work Order Processing for Facilities management begins with the creation of master files that maintain user-defined codes for the various aspects of the work orders required to maintain the facility and equipment. Numeric codes with descriptions can be entered for:

  • Charges
  • Activities
  • Persons
  • Status

These codes establish standard information for each category listed above and allows easier work order entry of required tasks.

Labor Posting is performed through a separate option that records postings as Time Tickets. Time Tickets can be reported to the terminal or printer, and sorted by:

  • Work Order Number
  • Person
  • Date Range
  • Customer
  • Status
Materials usage can be posted to work orders as well and include detail lines for:
  • Part Numbers
  • Quantity Used
  • Usage Date
  • Person

Material posting tickets ran also be reported to the terminal or printer, just as Time Tickets are.

Actual time spent on a particular work order is calculated and displayed automatically based on labor time tickets entered against the work order.

Actual time can be viewed by displaying the work order.

Work Order Load Reports summarize work order requirements by facility area, assignment, or status, and show overall work schedules according to start and stop dates as entered for each work order. Important details for each work order are also displayed.

Additional Features

The Facilities Management module allows you to enter facility assets and keep track of those assets in a number of different ways. Data information included with each asset includes:

  • Asset Class Codes
  • Description
  • Asset Location
  • Serial # (if applicable)
  • Vendor who supplied asset
  • Location
  • New or Used piece of equipment
  • Data Purchased
  • Last and Next Maintenance Date
  • User-Defined Codes for:
  • Charges
  • Activities
  • Persons
  • Work Order Status
  • Create Work Orders with:
    • Estimated Hours
    • Creation Date
    • Scheduled Start/End Dates
    • Actual Start/End Date
  • Actual Hours Updated Automatically

A Location Code ID is used to identity the location of each specific asset.
