MANUFACTURING

The ABBASOFT Technologies Manufacturing Module is used to generate work orders for the production of manufactured parts. Materials are issued from the Manufacturing module through BOM's created in the Bills of Material module. Router cards are also issued from Manufacturing. Labor posting and work-in-process receipt completes the process.

KEY BENEFITS

  • Create and maintain product configurations and estimates.
  • Tracks actual costs of material labor, outside processing for control of finances.
  • Provides variance calculation between estimated and actual costs, tacked through all phases of the manufacturing process.

Manufacturing Features

The Manufacturing (MRPII) module is a part of the complete manufacturing system, and is fully integrated with the supporting modules.

As a part of a complete manufacturing system, the Manufacturing module is used to issue bills of material and router cards created in the Bill of Material and Router Control modules. Both BOM's and Routers can be changed for specific work orders.

Multiple work orders can be created, released, printed, issued or work-in-process, received for the same part, and entered as overlapping receipts. Open work orders show quantity received from WIP and the last date received.

Work Order Creation/Release

Variances between estimated and actual costs are calculated automatically and displayed in dollars and/or percentages.

Manual work order entry applies W/O's to specific sales orders or planned W/O's.

System captures estimated and actual costs for labor and materials, burdens for labor, bought/manufactured material and outside processing.

An automatic order acknowledgment is printed when an order is released with a confirmed promise date.

Entry and change of confirmation promise date is supported.

Check work center unit of measure on router is supported.
