PRODUCTION
CONTROL
The
ABBASOFT Technologies Production Control
module controls shop floor production and
is linked to Inventory Control,
Manufacturing, and Order Processing
modules. Production reports may be
displayed on-line at the user terminal,
sent to a printer or Excel spreadsheet.
KEY
BENEFITS
- Improved
control over manufacturing costs
and scheduling.
- Analyze
production information to
maximize production capacity and
correct inefficiencies.
- Provide
opportunities for increased
material production and decreased
lead times.
Production
Control Features
Stock
status displays six months usage and
requirements for the next three months.
Lots and NCMR (scrap) number display.
Issue
up to two decimal places and display NCMR
number for any lot issue.
NCMR
inquiry is linked to issue and release
programs and inventory inquiry.
Stock
by-products from work-in-process when
scrap code is flagged. Job is credited
for cost and part is added to inventory.
When
order requirements exceed the number of
authorized production runs, work orders
will automatically be planned, but placed
on-hold.
Requirements
Planning checks for the number of times a
product may be produced.
Hold
status will not effect purchasing
requirements or sub-component
requirements.
Requirements
will verify if the pricing was a special
and if the cutoff date is less than or
equal to the delivery date.
Cross
reference file stores work orders on-hold
so that if the product authorization is
changed, the appropriate work orders will
be released. This works for both the
number of production runs allowed and
cutoff date.
Work
Order Listing displays on-hold orders
(authorized production runs exceeded or
special pricing cut-off date is past
due).
