PURCHASING
The ABBASOFT Technologies Purchasing module provides detailed purchase order functions that generate orders and track items from order date through receiving inspection and into inventory. PO's can be entered, verified, and printed all using the PO Entry option. Complete historical data is maintained and a variety of reports give the status of items on purchase orders as they move through the system.

Purchasing Features

Inventory tags, once issued, are recorded in the system for each part receiving a tag. Tags returned due to part activity (sales, damage, work-in-process, etc.) are also recorded. When physical inventory is taken, variances between tags issued and those returned are reported through the system.

Detailed item specification includes part types, scrap percentage, lot or serial tracking, obsolete parts, bins, receiving inspection, and product categories.

Counted tags verifying physical inventory can be used to update the part master file quantities automatically. Posting other computer processes that check inventory levels to proceed regardless of physical inventory levels.

Overall, the Physical Inventory module provides for comprehensive maintenance and management of inventory intensive operations.
