SALES ANALYSIS

The ABBASOFT Technologies Sales Analysis module maintains fiscal sales information by customer, sales representative, buyer, product, and region. The Sales Analysis module collects information from other modules in the ABBASOFT system for a variety of summary and detail sales reports.

Sales Analysis Features

Module uses information from Master files for Customer, Salesrep, Parts and Products, and Order Entry.

Customer financial history is maintained in the customer master record for:

  • Open A/R Dollars
  • Open Order/Rental Dollars
  • Month-to-Date Sales
  • Year-to-Date Sales

Detailed item specifications provide extensive on-line information at a glance. These specifications include part types, scrap percentage, lot or serial tracking, obsolete, bin, receiving inspection, and product categories.

Forecasted and actual month-to-date and year-to-date sales figures for sales representatives are updated automatically by the system for:
  • Bookings
  • Sales
  • Returns
  • Commissions

Detailed reporting of sales information includes current and prior year figures, output to terminal or printer, summary and detail reports, plus net and extended totals. The system will maintain Sales History for as long as there is hard disk space available to store it.

A Commission Tracking module is also available.

Reports

Product-Customer-Salesrep Reports: A variety of sales reports are available for each combination of categories, in summary and detail, with various user-selected display fields.
Gross Profit Analysis: Generates a detailed analysis of gross profits by customer for a specified range of invoice dates.
Daily/Weekly Sales Journal: Lists daily or weekly inventory sales with quantities and dollar values, for a selected period.
Salesperson Ranking: Generates a sales representative ranking based on current month-to-date and year-to-date sales.
Regional Sales by Part: Lists product sales for one or all regions during a specified fiscal month and year in dollar values.
YTD Customer Variance %: Lists dollar and percentage sales comparisons of customer sales for a specified fiscal month and year with the same month of the previous fiscal year.
Buyer Sales Report: Lists sales activity for one or all buyers by month and quarter for the fiscal year to date, with optional variance percentage between current and prior year.
Shipment Analysis Report: Produces an evaluation of order promise and actual delivery dates for an analysis of early, on-time, and late deliveries.
