SHIPPING

The ABBASOFT Technologies Shipping module provides the ability to store UPS and Federal Express shipping information. The extensive UPS tables and rates can be used to automatically calculate shipping charges in Sales Order Shipment Confirmation. The module has the additional capability to print COD tags and manifests.

Shipping Features

Zone Table Maintenance allows for the entry of all UPS Zones keyed to their respective zip codes. The various weight/zone combinations are entered at UPS Chart and UPS International Chart Maintenance. UPS Additional Charges provides the data entry capability for COD, Call Tag, Insurance, and other charges.

Additionally, a user may enter scheduled percentage changes to UPS weight rates. UPS Letter, Federal Express Priority, and Federal Express Standard rates are entered at their respective options. The UPS CWT Chart provides for the entry of hundred-weight classes and rates.

Next Day Letter and Call Tag charges are entered in the update section for inclusion on the UPS Manifest. Users can also cancel UPS Manifest items and/or execute the percentage charges previously entered.
