TIME CLOCK

The ABBASOFT Technologies Time Clock module records employee numbers and time cards to maintain payroll hours for salaried and hourly employees. The Time Clock module interfaces with a bar code slot reader, light pens and automated time clocks to capture bar coded employee time card data.

Time Clock Features

There are four options for time card data input:
    • Automated Time Clock
    • Bar code slot reader
    • Light pen
    • Keyboard data entry
  • Identifies 6 character bar code
  • Report time cards by employee within department
  • Linked to Payroll module
Maintains employee:
    • Name
    • Department number
    • Time Card number
    • Termination date
  • Edit employee time cards for 7 day period
  • Payroll regular and overtime hours calculated automatically

Additional Features

  • In the Employee Shift Maintenance option shift assignments can be entered along with specific work order assignments, overtime authorization, and vacation schedules can be maintained.
  • The Convert Time Clock to Payroll option allows the user to roll time cards entered in the Time Clock module to the Payroll module for payroll calculation by date and employee.
  • Maintain shift and lunch start and end times.
  • Holiday schedules for a particular shift can be maintained.
  • The Employee Time Card Edit option allows the personnel dept. to enter and edit payroll time cards in case changes to an employee time card need to be made.

Flag Selectable Controls

These flags are used to control the software contained in the Time Clock module. Changing these flags will effect how this module works. Flags generally control items that cannot be changed through the table prompts in each particular screen.

Selected Hardware Time Clock Options

  • Hand-held Intermec SP, ER, XP, or PDF ScanPlus scanners
  • Intermec 1280 Series Wands
  • Either Slot Scanners or Slot Scanners with a terminal may be used. Please refer to the Intermec web site for other options: www.intermec.com
  • Intermec MagScan Badge Scanner
  • Intermec Optical Readers§ Transterm 4B Data Terminals
  • Other automated Time Clocks or terminals may be used as well depending on your application requirement.

Reports

Print Employee Bar Code Label: This report option allows the user to print out an employee bar code label for the bar code number entered for this employee in the Bar Code Maintenance option.
Employee Time Clock History: This option allows the user to obtain a listing to the printer only, of one or all employee time clock histories.
Employee Attendance History: This report allows the user to list attendance records for one or all employees for a selected calendar year.
