| The
Container Entry screen
allows the user to enter new
truckloads or change truckloads
already entered into the system.
The detail portion of the screen
will allow the user to edit items
in the truckload such as qty or
part number. User may add or
delete a line, add or delete a
range of lines, or clear all
lines. The
Truck Setup screen allows
the user to enter new trucks or
edit truck information already in
the system. The detail part of
the screen will allow the user
enter the tuck's maximum capacity
and weight. Status of the truck
is either "Empty" or
"Loaded". Also, if
status is "loaded"
destination will show as well.
The
Unit of Measure menu
option allows the user to
calculate truck loads based on
various units of measure (ie -
pounds, cubic feet, feet, &
meters).
The
Lead Time Off-Sets menu
option allows the user to setup
lead times for various warehouses
involved in the manufacturing
process.

The
Truck/Container Load Report
allows the user to receive a
listing of all scheduled or
unscheduled truckloads. Report
can be sorted by: Truck, Part, or
Date. This can be run real time
if the MRP flag is on or by the
Truck Recalculation menu option. The
Recommended Transfer Report
allows the user to receive a
listing of parts that need to be
transferred to the manufacturing
facility. Report includes part
quantity and weight information.
The
Open Transfer Listing
allows the user to compare open
transfers with the truck load
report. These two should match.
Other
Features:
- Pack
Slip prints with location
- Bar code selection can
be Sales Order or
Transfer Number.
- Bill
of Lading prints for
truck to show the actual
parts on the truck.
Weight & cubic feet
are printed on the BOL
unless this has been
changed via the Unit of
Measure menu option.
- Inter-Warehouse
will be created
automatically during WIP
Receipt to truck.
