In addition, we recommend that you read the Administrator's Guide for SAP Business One E-Commerce and Web CRM before installing the application. ------------------------------------------------------ PRODUCT NAME and OVERVIEW ------------------------------------------------------ SAP Business One E-Commerce (formerly known as NetPoint Commerce) and Web CRM (formerly known as NetPoint Focus) are sometimes referred to collectively and generically as "Web tools." When referring to both components, this document uses the official application name: SAP Business One E-Commerce and Web CRM. The e-commerce component of the SAP Business One E-Commerce and Web CRM application provides an online presence for business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-customer (B2C) product sales. The Web customer relationship management (CRM) component of SAP Business One E-Commerce and Web CRM provides comprehensive sales and service functions, including remote access to customer orders and service call information. The e-commerce and Web CRM components of SAP Business One E-Commerce and Web CRM are licensed separately and can be used either individually or combined. SAP Business One E-Commerce and Web CRM is designed to work together with SAP Business One; it cannot be used a stand-alone product. Web site product sales information, in addition to service and sales call information entered on the Web site, is synchronized with SAP Business One at predetermined intervals, as frequently as every 20 minutes. ------------------------------------------------------ SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS ------------------------------------------------------ See the SAP Business One E-Commerce and Web CRM Administrator's Guide for hardware and software requirements. Note: This application is not compliant with 64-bit applications or hardware. ------------------------------------------------------ WEB APPLICATION INSTALLATION ------------------------------------------------------ For First-Time Installation To verify that ASP.Net 2.0 has been properly associated with Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), run the following command from the command prompt: C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_regiis.exe -i 1) To set up the installer program, run SETUP.exe. 2) To start the application, choose Start -> Menu -> Programs -> SAP Business One -> Web Tools -> Installer. 3) Run the install for your Web site. Upon successful completion, the Web application portion is installed. Note: For detailed installation instructions, see the Administrator's Guide. 4) Grant IIS full privileges to the Assets folder and its subdirectories. The default location for this folder is C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\B1Webtools\assets. Depending on your environment, perform each of the following steps even though all local groups or local users listed may not be available. If you are unsure, contact your system administrator. If using Windows XP Professional: - Grant full control NTFS permissions over the entire Assets folder and its subdirectories to “localmachinename\ASPNET.” Note: This must be a local user, not a domain user. - Grant full control to the “IWAM_LocalMachineName” local group. If using Windows Server 2003: - Grant full control NTFS permissions over the entire Assets folder and its subdirectories to “localmachinename\ASPNET.” Note: This must be a local user, not a domain user. - Grant full control NTFS permissions over the entire Assets folder and its subdirectories to the local group “IIS_WPG.” Note: This must be a local user, not a domain user. - Grant full control NTFS permissions over the entire Assets folder and its subdirectories to the local group “Network Service.” Note: This must be a local user, not a domain user. To force the subdirectories of the Assets folder to reset inherited permissions from the Assets folder: - Right-click the Assets directory and select Properties. - Click the Security tab, then click the Advanced button. - Select the Reset permissions on all child objects… box. Note: If these steps are not done correctly, an error message displays when you try to save a theme within the Administration section of SAP Business One E-Commerce and Web CRM. 5) Visit your storefront Web site to make sure that it runs correctly. The default location is http://localhost/b1webtools. 6) If this is your first install on this server, you see a license error message. Click the link Request or Install a License. If you have not previously requested a license, fill out the form presented and click the Create License Request button. 7) You see a new window showing the license request. Copy and paste this request into an e-mail and instruct your reseller to send it to ecommerce@sap.com. 8) Upon receiving the license back from SAP via e-mail, the reseller forwards it to you. Cut and paste the e-mail contents into the Install Received License tab on the license installation screen. 9) The default theme displays. 10) To log on, choose My Account and specify “manager” for both the username and password. 11) Use the online help, Administrator's Guide, and training materials to configure your settings.
